Profile Cross-Section Design

Connection Design
There are various connection methods between aluminum profiles for curtain walls, such as bolted connections, welded connections, and riveted connections. Bolted connections are the most common connection method, offering advantages such as convenient installation and disassembly. In bolted connection design, factors such as bolt specifications, quantity, and tightening torque need to be considered to ensure the reliability of the connection.
Welded connections can form a strong whole between profiles, but the welding process generates thermal stress, which may affect the performance of the profile. Therefore, appropriate measures need to be taken to control thermal stress during welding design and construction, such as preheating and slow cooling. Riveting connections are suitable for some parts where the connection strength requirements are not high.
